Forum History

The Silent Hill Heaven Forum was opened by Vixx and YatesFox in July, 2003, after many requests were made by visitors to Silenthillheaven.com. The forum was an immediate success and grew rapidly, helped by the release of Silent Hill 3 in early 2003, and the cult fanbase of the first two games.

In 2005 (?), disaster struck when the forum was hacked and everything was lost. Undaunted, Vixx and YatesFox relaunched the forum, later that year and it has since grown into what it is today. With the relaunch came the new age restriction - new members must be 17 years or older, though underage members from the old forum were allowed to rejoin.

Over the years, SHHF has become one of the biggest Silent Hill forums on the internet. Much praise must be given to the moderating team and to the loyal members that have made SHHF a great place to debate the many aspects of the Silent Hill games, as well as creating such a friendly, tight-knit community.
